About me
I’m Sassan, a passionate game designer with a focus on systems design and technical design. I’ve loved video games for as long as I can remember, and I have always been fascinated by the systems, mechanics, and technology behind games, which led me to pursue game design with a focus on technical and systems design. I have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering.
Besides designing and programming, I have a solid understanding of the development process and the disciplines involved, including project management, art, marketing, sound design, and writing. This broad perspective allows me to write clear and concise GDDs, collaborate effectively with others, and account for technical and creative constraints. I learn quickly, adapt easily, and work effectively within different team structures and production workflows.
I believe an elegant design is the one that avoids unnecessary complexity while adding depth to the gameplay.
Personally I love RPG and strategy games and spent more time on DOTA than I like to admit.
I’m committed to continuous learning and refining my craft through iteration. I approach every project as an opportunity to become a better designer.
